Bierther Submikron sets the course for the future: changes to the management team and shareholder structure
The Bierther Submikron Ltd, the Bretzenheim-based special mechanical engineering company with a focus on industrial lapping and polishing technology, is setting the course for the future as part of a succession plan prepared over the long term.
To 1 May 2026 There will be a change in management and the ownership structure of the company.
The previous managing directors, Ulrike Höpp and Hardy Höpp, handing over the company and with it the operational responsibility to Cristina Bienick, Philipp Bienick and Benjamin Gintz, who will jointly manage the affairs of Bierther Submikron GmbH in future and are also shareholders in the company.
The division of responsibilities within the new management team is clearly structured: Cristina Bienick is responsible for the administrative and commercial areas, including finance, organisation and corporate governance. Benjamin Gintz vis responsible for the technical area and the further development of the technological direction. Philipp Bienick will henceforth concentrate on the strategic positioning of the company.

The change in leadership is the result of a structured and forward-looking handover process. By appointing a successor from within the company, Bierther Submikron GmbH is deliberately focusing on continuity and sustainable development.
